The design industry continually provides us with satisfying careers and we believe in sharing our passion, knowledge and experience in design and business with aspiring professionals.
The principals of Highland Graphics, under the umbrella of Highland Creative,
were headhunted in several years ago to create a distance education course
of Graphic
Design & Desktop Publishing for Sydney based Australian College
Pty Ltd.
A documentation of our accumulated industry, educational and business experience,
the course is industry-recognised and popular with students from around the
globe.
We mentor students and act as tutors for the Course which primarily focuses on providing training in the application of the Adobe software program InDesign, as well as the fundamentals of layout and design.
This distance education course provides countless students with the opportunity to explore their creativity and hone their design and computer skills. It also offers them a potential opportunity to change their situation and develop a sustainable career, or to enhance an existing one.
The Course attracts a diverse range of students from school leavers to retirees, from small business operators to those working for large enterprises, from educators to marketers, from working mothers to mothers whose current full time job is child rearing, to name a few.
All have one thing in common – the desire to learn and develop their creativity.
Many students are from cities and many live in remote country areas throughout Australia. A wide range of international students are enrolled from countries near and far, including England, New Zealand, Fiji, Vanuatu, Samoa, Gibraltar, Seychelles, Brazil, Jamaica, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
